So... What's it all about?

As part of your registration form you will find that there is a “ Reflections’ PDF, which is an open ended calendar log book for you to record your weekly activities. It is not just a record of what you have done it should be used as a reflection of how you felt and what you feel you have achieved.

There is no judgement on how you participate and complete this award and as such it is self regulated. It is your journey, yours to enjoy and your personal growth.

However, I would love to hear your story and I will personally recognise all participants who complete each level of the award!

The Personal Empowerment Challenge is an opportunity for people of all ages to challenge themselves and try new things, with the ultimate goal of improved self-esteem and well-being. There are 4 sections of PEC which are designed to help you grow personally, on the way to reaching self-actualisation.

The idea is to take each section of the award, Get Physical, Get Skilled Up and Get Volunteering as a weekly challenge over a three month period, when possible trying to keep the activities going on consecutive weeks to ensure you maintain momentum. The final stage of the PEC, Get Involved, is an expedition of 1-3 nights, depending on the level of PEC which you are doing...

Creation (Level 1), Connection (Level 2) and Integraton (Level 3)

MEET EMMA, FOUNDER OF PEC

Emma is currently living in Wassenaar, The Netherlands and has lived all around the world throughout her life, most recently Singapore.

"I've created the Personal Empower Challenge because I wanted to share how amazing it can feel to have adventures at any stage of your life, to accept the real need and benefits of physical activity, to keep opening one's mind to learning new skills and most importantly to feel the power of connection from giving service to others"

Hello! I'm Emma and I've started PEC as I believe that if we can all get involved and challenge ourselves we will become better human-beings and well-rounded citizens. It's all about going on a journey and being proud of yourself at what you've achieved by the end - enjoy!
